Our strength and courage as a gift!

If you are finding it difficult to find the perfect gift for your spouse or partner, consider giving them the gift of a boudoir album! Miss K, wife and mother of five boys, did just that to celebrate her and her husband’s 15-year anniversary this year!

Miss K shared that she was a little nervous initially, and had to work on calming her giggles!

“Sometimes I [felt] a little awkward, but you made it so easy to be open.”

When clients come to Inspired Boudoir Studio for a photography session, I find that being open and vulnerable is the key to unlocking amazing pictures. That’s when your full self can shine and as a result that is reflected in your final images.

To help Miss K overcome her initial nerves, I shared with her what I have learned during my time as a boudoir photographer – If you can do this, you can do almost anything because a boudoir photography session is so personal… you have to put yourself out there into the world. This experience extends past the session because any time you feel you can’t do something in life, think back to your boudoir session and remember, “If I can do that I can do anything!” Miss K attests to how true this is.

“It’s already happened! I didn’t do great on a test recently and I was kind of crying because I’m going to have to [retake] it. I said I can’t do this, I can’t do this! [But then] I was like, don’t ever say I can’t and then I honestly thought back to the shoot and [realized] if I could do that, then I can do this too!”

It’s such an amazing opportunity to hear about how Miss K was able to encourage herself after recalling how strong and empowered she was during her shoot. As a photographer, I cannot make a client feel empowered, beautiful, or confident. I simply provide the environment to which they are able to open up and fully express themselves and it is such an honor to be a part of it!
