Finding our path and identity
Hello loves! I’m back with another amazing boudoir photography experience in Utah to share with you all. I’m always stunned by how resilient and courageous women are when faced with so much adversity. Boudoir is a great way to shed the weight of your past and reveal a transformed version of yourself.
When Miss J came into my studio, I knew I was working with a warrior! Growing up in a tumultuous household with parents suffering from substance abuse and responsible for raising her little sister, Miss J didn’t stop endeavoring to persevere! Her struggles continued as a young mother in an unstable relationship. Fast forward to today, with two kids and a strong marriage of 18 years, Miss J felt ready to do something just for herself.
“I always try to do what I can for everybody to make them happy…that’s the mother part of me. I read that you’re about empowering women and I just thought that would be a great opportunity for me.”
I hear from a lot of moms who have put their needs on the back burner to provide the best life for their families and Miss J can relate. After going back to school to become a master aesthetician, she is now ready to focus on her goals of owning her own spa. In addition to feeling confident in her career, Miss J wanted to feel just as confident in her skin.
“I’m trying to feel more comfortable with myself and my body and not feel like just a mom of two teenage kids.”
While some of our clients are nervous heading into a shoot, Miss J was feeling confident and excited! Her energy made this boudoir shoot extra special!
“I think the session was very empowering. You made me feel very comfortable. You made me feel very beautiful and secure with myself and I just wish I could do these every day, honestly!”
